Medical character:
1940 - 1993

Geriatric
In 1939 a Home for the Aged opened at No. 47 Cecile Park under the management of a committee of the Hornsey Housing Trust.

In 1944 the committtee was incorporated as Hill Homes Ltd, with charitable status, and took over the running of the Home from the Hornsey Housing Trust.

In 1945 the Home moved to No. 21 View Road, where it had 24 beds.  It was later renamed Delia Grotten Home, in honour of its first resident, a retired police matron.

The Home closed in 1993.

Present status (June 2009)

The building is now a private residence.  It is unclear whether it has been massively refurbished or rebuilt in the same traditional style.
