Military
During WW1 the hospital within Mill Hill Barracks became the Mill Hill Military Hospital with 12 beds for sick and wounded servicemen under Eastern Command.


Present status (September 2014)

The Barracks (later renamed Inglis Barracks) closed in 1961 and the site is being redeveloped by Taylor Wimpey and others as a new housing estate called Millbrook Park.
